Banner design, time frame & location
Banners are approximately 29" x 55", printed on vinyl, and feature a photo of the veteran along with their name, rank, branch of service, and dates of active service. A branch-of-service circular logo is placed above the veteran's image. Banners are displayed on poles along Wood Avenue for a designated period of time; banner locations are selected at random and specific display locations cannot be requested. Each banner carries the logos of the Linden Special Improvement District, the Linden Board of Education, the City of Linden, the Linden Society for Historic Preservation, and the Linden Public Library.
Banner photograph (required)
Please secure a photograph of the veteran you would like to feature on the banner and submit it with your application. The higher the quality of the photograph, the better the reproduction on the banner. Digital photographs are accepted — a service portrait is preferred.
